It is used to reinforce current classroom lessons and work, 6th grade homework policy. We feel it is essential that students complete assignments neatly and on time. We also feel it is important for us to be consistent with our expectations. Therefore, the Sixth Grade Team has adopted the following homework policy:. o Assignments are to be written and completed neatly.

o Math assignments are to be completed in PENCIL only. o All other assignments may be completed on the computer or written neatly using dark blue, black ink, or pencil as specified by the teacher. o Daily homework assignments not completed on the due date will receive a zero for a grade. If the assignment is turned in the following school day, half credit will be given. Daily homework assignments completed after this will receive no credit.

o Full credit will be given for reports, projects, and graded assignments that are completed on the day they are due. We would like to ask all parents and guardians to help their child to succeed in completing assignments by monitoring their progress.

Students must use the assignment pads given to them on the first day of school and keep their notebooks organized. Any teacher will be happy to help with organizational skills should the student ask for help. Please check these resources frequently. Please refer to the below list of voicemail numbers and emails.
